Re: [FJ55] PTO frame rail extensions

Charles- good luck finding a set of these. I looked for two years before
stumbling a pair that were still on the frame rails of 55 frame which had
been cut in three pieces and was going to be scrapped. These are indeed hard
to find. When I sold off my PTO winch setups (had one for a 40 and one for a
55) james Valley of cruiserparts.net bought them. Maybe he still has the
frame rail extensions, I don't know. I now run a Warn 8724, it's strong and
mounted out of the way, but must say the 55 looked awesome with the factory
winch. The factory winch does stick way the heck out in front, though, and
the added length proved to be a negative for me when wheeling the pig.
Pulling power? I suspect the factory winch might have more power but I've
never maxed out wither the factory winch or the Warn.

                                                                Gary S
