Re: Digest ironpigs.v001.n237
Hey y'all,
just partyin' with some friends here on new years, and wanted
to wish you all the best for the up coming year.
Just a little advice for you crazy pigheads, don't try to
paint your pig unless you have sufficient room and good
weather. I've taken mine apart so far that it is unrealistic
to think that I will ever accomplish my goal. What that
means is.... the doors off and dissassembled including
removal of glass, weatherstrip and all hardware
Grill, headlamp ornament,fenders,T-gate & all hardware,
cowl &cover, ALL PAINTED,....factory bone white?
Then I have to paint the non factory dark green
paint {chosen by wife because she doesn't care for
the factory light green 70' paint} retape,retape,retape!
Any who, That's right any who, if you under take such
a project, i reccommend that you have #1, TIME
#2 Space, #3 patience, # 4 good weather &
finally but certainly not last, SPARE BOLTS, NUTS
AND ELBOW GREASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT feels good to do a complete dissasembly &
Know it was more than skin deep!!!!!!!
Now that I think about it I pretty much have taken
my PIG PIG PIG PIG PIGGY apart.
THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTE,
HAPPY NEW YEAR
DOUGLAS, in LIVERMORE CA
BEST REGARDS TO
ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
